A. Age Limit (As on 01.09.2017):
Deputy Manager
- Minimum Age – 25 years
- Maximum Age – 35 years
Deputy General Manager
- Minimum Age – 35 years
- Maximum Age – 45 years
B. Educational Qualifications (As on 1.09.2017):
Deputy Manager & Deputy General Manager
- Graduate with a degree in Law or
- A Law Graduate who has passed 5 years integrated law course.
C. Experience Required (As on 1.09.2017):
Deputy Manager
- Must have at least 4 years of experience as Law officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks/Financial Institutions or State Level Development Financial Institutions.
Deputy General Manager
- Must have at least 15 years of experience as Law officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions or State Level Development Financial Institutions.
4. SBI Specialist Cadre Selection Process
Deputy Manager
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview.
- The call letter of a test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also informed through SMS & e-mails.
- The questions in the written test will be bilingual.
- Except for Professional Knowledge paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature.
- The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
- The written test is likely to be conducted on 11th November 2017.
Deputy General Manager
- Selection will be based on shortlisting & personal interview.
- Shortlisting will be based on their qualification, experience & overall suitability, for the interview.
- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the Interview.

- Pay Scale – Rs.31705-45950 pm
- Annual Emoluments – 15.10 Lacs (inclusive of leased rental at Mumbai)
Deputy General Manager
- Pay Scale – Rs.68680-76520 pm
- Annual Emoluments – 40.20 Lacs (inclusive of leased rental at Mumbai)
